2017-18 Budget – Get involved and make your voice heard!

The BOE (Board of Education) is soliciting all thoughts/concerns/questions about the 2017/18 education budget asap from stakeholders. Please send to BOE member Erica Gelven at egelven@clintonpublic.net.  Input will be forwarded to Annaliese Spaziano, Chair of the Clinton BOE, and Maryann O’Donnell, Superintendent of Clinton Public Schools. Input can be be passed along anonymously, if preferred.

Mark Your Calendars! The most important date for public input is January 19, 5:30 in the BOE meeting room (Joel building). This is the Budget/Finance Subcommittee meeting when the discussion of all the budgetary realities/priorities occurs. The second most important date for public feedback is January 30, 7:30 in the BOE meeting room. This is the full Board meeting when the budget is “adopted.” The third most important date for public input is, at this point, Wednesday, April 12, when the Board of Finance holds its public hearing on the proposed town and education budgets. Any changes to these dates will be posted on the District website.
